Introduction:

Among the thousands of fossils found around the world a few seem to be from human feet. But more surprising is that some of these footprints are in geological strata where they should not be found according to the evolutionary timetable.

In the following pages I have researched the established evolutionists view of these footprints as well as some alternative theories, usually from the creationist side of the debate. I hope that I have provided you with as much information as possible for you to make your own decision on the origins of these anomalous footprints.

Each side of the debate will be influenced by doctrinal bias and this must be kept in mind when reading their arguments for or against a particular view. The entire evolutionary theories of origins require a specific geological and evolutionary timeline. If this timeline is found to be faulty, the evolutionary theory fails. If, for example, a human footprint is found during the age of the dinosaurs, the evolutionary timeline is in jeopardy of collapsing as the dinosaurs became extinct about 65 million years before the introduction of man according to the theory. On the other hand, the creationist’s theory of origins has no problem with the discovery of human footprints with dinosaurs, as they believe they have co-existed from the beginning of time. The creationist’s doctrinal bias in this case will not be as strong as the creation theory does not require the existence of human footprints with dinosaurs. But, a discovery such as this would go along way in proving the theory.

The Evidence:

There are two questions that need to be answered concerning the evidence presented here. Are the footprints human and if so, how old are they? There are several possibilities, all of which I have listed below, no matter how far fetched they may sound.

  • The footprints, no matter how human-like they may be, are not of human origin.

  • The footprints are of human origin but the geological dating method is faulty.

  • The footprints are of human origin but the evolutionary dating of humans is faulty.

  • The dating methods are correct and the footprints are of human origin but, are from humans who have traveled back in time.

  • The dating methods are correct but, the footprints are from human-like aliens who have visited earth in the ancient past.

Conclusion:

For some of the footprints discovered both sides have valid arguments for their conclusions. While some of the footprints are inconclusive, there are two that appear to be human in origin, the Zapata and Nevada Prints. Because of the evolutionary communities silence concerning these two it would appear that they have no response for their human origins. The prints are unmistakably human, one being a very clear human footprint and the other of a shoe complete with visible thread impressions. According to the evolutionary timetable and the geological dating of strata, these prints are hundreds of millions of years old, long before humans are said to have evolved. While the evidence presented here does not conflict with the creationist’s view that the earth and humans were created 6,000 years ago, it does not prove the creation theory is correct.

The only conclusion that can be made based on the evidence is that humans, or human-like creatures have existed on the planet long before the evolutionary timetable indicates.

would that allow you to use your brain? Obviously time travel was possible and the prints were from someone who travel back in time.

"The only conclusion that can be made based on the evidence is that humans, or human-like creatures have existed on the planet long before the evolutionary timetable indicates."

Or - the evolutionary timetable is a completely wrong interpretation of the evidence and the Biblical view that the layers of the earth were all deposited during a year-long, world wide flood just a few thousand years ago is actually supported by real-world evidence like these fossilized human footprints.

But, that interpretation is utterly unacceptable to some because once we start supporting the historical accuracy of a world-wide flood as told about in the Bible then we also start supporting the idea that God has the authority to judge us according to our behavior and that we cannot just do whatever we want without consequences.

Some people want to make their own rules on how they should live, but cannot justify such actions in a God-created universe. Solution? Deny God's existence and reject, dispute, and distort anything which may support Him and His authority, that way there is no way to determine what is right or wrong because without God, the Ultimate Qualifier, everything becomes relative and what one person thinks should or should not be done can be dismissed as "just their opinion."

The evolutionary worldview, with its claim of everything being the result of natural processes, allows a justification for doing anything you want to anybody at anytime as long as you don't get caught by your fellow man.

Now, I will say though that the majority of evolutionists don't do this, but it is the result of being inconsistent with their beliefs, rather than a lack of justification.

If everything is the result of causes unrelated to God, then what basis is their for his implied existence? If there is no God, then how do we determine what is right or wrong since every idea and claim can be discarded as only an opinion.

A vote by majority does not determine what is right or wrong; only what will please the most people - which depends on the situation. Take a vote inside a prison to see how many people think all prisoners should be released and guess what becomes "right." The majority (the prisoners) will vote to release all prisoners because they out-number the minority (the guards.)

The only way to combat such situations is to have an ultimate standard to compare all things to. Guess what that is?

Enjoyed this website. Have only had a chance to quickly look at the footprint sites. As others, I have walked many times down the Paluxy riverbed. The three and five toed prints were always a thrill for me to see. My Father took me there in the 1950's. There were stories then as you have reported but no human prints in evidence at that time as far I know. I only heard stories of prints being dug and taken to another state. I saw pictures in a journal that were supposed to be human. The prints reportedly came from the Paluxy riverbed. I also appreciated your honest research analysis by reporting both sides of the issues. Only this type of scholarly analysis can reach the evolutionists and put a question in their minds as to the vaildity of the evolutionary theory. Then will be the opportunity for the God to work on their minds and their hearts. Then the questions will come. Thanks so very much, Nancy Thomas

Its amazing what off-the-wall excuses the scientists(term used loosely!)will come up with to defend a truly blind-faith. Aliens and time-travel are complete guess work, yet they mock Christians for believing in God.
