Many artifacts left behind by ancient man have been found. While most artifacts dissintegrate over time some have survived. Some of these are made of material, such as stone, that remaini over long periods of time. Some have become fossilized (wood or other material that is turned into stone). These artifacts can be dated through Carbon-14 testing of any carbon based material remaining such as wood, flesh, etc. or by dating the ground where the artifact was found.

Doctrinal bias will influence ones interpretation of the artifact. If the geological date for the area the artifact is found is in the hundreds of millions of years, the evolutionist will find this date impossible as man only evolved 100,000 years ago. The creationist who believes that God created man 6,000 years ago will see the artifact as proof for creation but will disagree with the date.

The actual number of man made artifacts discovered in areas, where according to the evolutionary theory of the origins of man, where could not have been. These anomalies are often ignored or labled as fake because they are an impossibility. A new area of archeology is surfacing, though not recognized and actually shunned by mainstream archeology, called "Forbidden Archeology". These archeologists are attempting to bring these artifacts to light regardless of what it means to the established theories. Below are some additional sites that list and describe many of these anomalies, more than what I am presenting here. Some of these may be fake or misinterpreted but, if just one of them is real, the established theories of the origins of man is bankrupt.
