A history of scripts from around the world including Semitic, Greek and Ogham as well as Egyptian hieroglyphs and Sumerian Cuneiform and their origins. It is a very informative book on the history of virtually all the writing systems of the world including Hebrew. While I found this book to be one of the most intersting books I have read on ancient writing I only give it two stars because the book is not limited to the Hebrew alphabet alone. Anyone interested in ancient scripts must read this book. The book includes great pictures, drawings and charts.
