Genesis 37:1 and Ya'aqov settled in the land of the pilgrimages of his father, in the land of Kena'an, וַיֵּשֶׁב       wai'yey'shev and~he~will~SETTLE (Verb) יַעֲקֹב       ya'a'qov Ya'aqov בְּאֶרֶץ       bê'e'rets in~LAND מְגוּרֵי       mê'gu'rey PILGRIMAGE~s אָבִיו       a'viw FATHER~him בְּאֶרֶץ       bê'e'rets in~LAND כְּנָעַן       kê'na'an Kena'an Genesis 37:2 these are the birthings of Ya'aqov, Yoseph, the son of seventeen years, he existed the feeder with his brothers in the flocks and he was a young man with the sons of Bilhah and with the sons of Zilpah, the women of his father, and Yoseph brought their dysfunctional slander to their father, אֵלֶּה       ey'leh THESE תֹּלְדוֹת       tol'dot BIRTHING~s יַעֲקֹב       ya'a'qov Ya'aqov יוֹסֵף       yo'seyph Yoseph בֶּן       ben SON שְׁבַע       shê'va SEVEN עֶשְׂרֵה       es'reyh TEN שָׁנָה       sha'nah YEAR הָיָה       hai'yah he~did~EXIST (Verb) רֹעֶה       ro'eh FEED (Verb)~ing/er(ms) אֶת       et AT אֶחָיו       e'hhaw BROTHER~s~him בַּצֹּאן       ba'tson in~the~FLOCKS וְהוּא       wê'hu and~HE נַעַר       na'ar YOUNG.MAN אֶת       et AT בְּנֵי       bê'ney SON~s בִלְהָה       vil'hah Bilhah וְאֶת       wê'et and~AT בְּנֵי       bê'ney SON~s זִלְפָּה       zil'pah Zilpah נְשֵׁי       nê'shey WOMAN~s אָבִיו       a'viw FATHER~him וַיָּבֵא       wai'ya'vey and~he~will~make~COME (Verb) יוֹסֵף       yo'seyph Yoseph אֶת       et AT דִּבָּתָם       di'ba'tam SLANDER~them(mp) רָעָה       ra'ah DYSFUNCTIONAL אֶל       el TO אֲבִיהֶם       a'vi'hem FATHER~them(mp) Genesis 37:3 and Yisra'el had loved Yoseph out of all his sons given that he was the son of his extreme old age and he made for him a tunic of wrists, וְיִשְׂרָאֵל       wê'yis'ra'eyl and~Yisra'el אָהַב       a'hav he~did~LOVE (Verb) אֶת       et AT יוֹסֵף       yo'seyph Yoseph מִכָּל       mi'kol from~ALL בָּנָיו       ba'naw SON~s~him כִּי       ki GIVEN.THAT בֶן       ven SON זְקֻנִים       zê'qu'nim EXTREME.OLD.AGE~s הוּא       hu HE לוֹ       lo to~~him וְעָשָׂה       wê'a'sah and~he~did~DO (Verb) לוֹ       lo to~~him כְּתֹנֶת       kê'to'net TUNIC פַּסִּים       pa'sim WRIST~s Genesis 37:4 and his brothers saw that their father loved him out of all his brothers and they hated him and they were not able to speak to him for completeness, וַיִּרְאוּ       wai'yir'u and~they(mp)~will~SEE (Verb) אֶחָיו       e'hhaw BROTHER~s~him כִּי       ki GIVEN.THAT אֹתוֹ       o'to AT~him אָהַב       a'hav he~did~LOVE (Verb) אֲבִיהֶם       a'vi'hem FATHER~them(mp) מִכָּל       mi'kol from~ALL אֶחָיו       e'hhaw BROTHER~s~him וַיִּשְׂנְאוּ       wai'yis'ne'u and~they(mp)~will~HATE (Verb) אֹתוֹ       o'to AT~him וְלֹא       wê'lo and~NOT יָכְלוּ       yakh'lu they(cp)~did~BE.ABLE (Verb) דַּבְּרוֹ       da'be'ro >~much~SPEAK (Verb)~him לְשָׁלֹם       lê'sha'lom to~COMPLETENESS Genesis 37:5 and Yoseph visualized a dream and he told it to his brothers and they continued to hate him, וַיַּחֲלֹם       wai'ya'hha'lom and~he~will~VISUALIZE (Verb) יוֹסֵף       yo'seyph Yoseph חֲלוֹם       hha'lom DREAM וַיַּגֵּד       wai'ya'geyd and~he~will~make~BE.FACE.TO.FACE (Verb) לְאֶחָיו       lê'e'hhaw to~BROTHER~s~him וַיּוֹסִפוּ       wai'yo'si'phu and~they(mp)~will~make~ADD (Verb) עוֹד       od YET.AGAIN (The Phrase "ADD YET.AGAIN" means "continue.") שְׂנֹא       sê'no >~HATE (Verb) אֹתוֹ       o'to AT~him Genesis 37:6 and he said to them, please hear this dream which I visualized, וַיֹּאמֶר       wai'yo'mer and~he~will~SAY (Verb) אֲלֵיהֶם       a'ley'hem TO~them(mp) שִׁמְעוּ       shim'u !(mp)~HEAR (Verb) נָא       na PLEASE הַחֲלוֹם       ha'hha'lom the~DREAM הַזֶּה       ha'zeh the~THIS אֲשֶׁר       a'sher WHICH חָלָמְתִּי       hha'lam'ti I(cs)~did~VISUALIZE (Verb) Genesis 37:7 and look, we were binding sheaves in the midst of the field and look, my sheaf rose and she was also standing erect and look, your sheaves went around and they bent themselves down to my sheaf, וְהִנֵּה       wê'hin'neyh and~LOOK אֲנַחְנוּ       a'nahh'nu WE מְאַלְּמִים       mê'al'mim much~BIND.UP (Verb)~ing/er(mp) אֲלֻמִּים       a'lu'mim BOUND.SHEAF~s בְּתוֹךְ       bê'tokh in~MIDST הַשָּׂדֶה       ha'sa'deh the~FIELD וְהִנֵּה       wê'hin'neyh and~LOOK קָמָה       qa'mah she~did~RISE (Verb) אֲלֻמָּתִי       a'lu'ma'ti BOUND.SHEAF~me(cs) וְגַם       wê'gam and~ALSO נִצָּבָה       ni'tsa'vah she~did~be~STAND.UP (Verb) וְהִנֵּה       wê'hin'neyh and~LOOK תְסֻבֶּינָה       tê'su'bey'nah they(fp)~did~GO.AROUND (Verb) אֲלֻמֹּתֵיכֶם       a'lu'mo'tey'khem BOUND.SHEAF~s~you(mp) וַתִּשְׁתַּחֲוֶיןָ       wa'tish'ta'hha'wey'na and~they(fp)~will~self~BEND.DOWN (Verb) לַאֲלֻמָּתִי       la'a'lu'ma'ti to~BOUND.SHEAF~me(cs) Genesis 37:8 and his brothers said to him, will you reign upon us or will you regulate in us and they continued to hate him because of his dreams and because of his words, וַיֹּאמְרוּ       wai'yom'ru and~they(mp)~will~SAY (Verb) לוֹ       lo to~~him Genesis 37:9 and he visualized yet again another dream and he recounted him to his brothers and he said, look, I visualized a dream yet again and look, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were וְאַחַד       wê'a'hhad and~UNIT עָשָׂר       a'sar TEN כּוֹכָבִים       ko'kha'vim STAR~s מִשְׁתַּחֲוִים       mish'ta'hha'wim self~BEND.DOWN (Verb)~ing/er(mp) לִי       li to~~me(cs) Genesis 37:10 and he recounted it to his father and to his brothers and his father rebuked him and he said to him, what is this dream which you visualized, will I and your mother and your brothers come to bend הַדָּבָר       ha'da'var the~WORD Genesis 37:12 and his brothers walked to feed the flocks of their father in Shekhem, וַיֵּלְכוּ       wai'yeyl'khu and~they(mp)~will~WALK (Verb) אֶחָיו       e'hhaw BROTHER~s~him לִרְעוֹת       lir'ot to~>~FEED (Verb) אֶת       et AT צֹאן       tson FLOCKS אֲבִיהֶם       a'vi'hem FATHER~them(mp) בִּשְׁכֶם       bish'khem in~Shekhem Genesis 37:13 and Yisra'el said to Yoseph, are your brothers not feeding in Shekhem, walk and I will send you to them, and he said to him, here am I, וַיֹּאמֶר       wai'yo'mer and~he~will~SAY (Verb) יִשְׂרָאֵל       yis'ra'eyl Yisra'el אֶל       el TO יוֹסֵף       yo'seyph Yoseph הֲלוֹא       ha'lo ?~NOT אַחֶיךָ       a'hhey'kha BROTHER~s~you(ms) רֹעִים       ro'im FEED (Verb)~ing/er(mp) בִּשְׁכֶם       bish'khem in~Shekhem לוֹ       lo to~~him הִנֵּנִי       hin'ney'ni LOOK~me(cs) Genesis 37:14 and he said to him, please walk, see the completeness of your brothers and the completeness of the flocks and return to me a word, and he sent him from the valley of Hhevron and he came unto Shekhem, וַיֹּאמֶר       wai'yo'mer and~he~will~SAY (Verb) לוֹ       lo to~~him לֶךְ       lekh !(ms)~WALK (Verb) נָא       na PLEASE רְאֵה       rê'eyh !(ms)~SEE (Verb) אֶת       et AT שְׁלוֹם       shê'lom COMPLETENESS אַחֶיךָ       a'hhey'kha BROTHER~s~you(ms) וְאֶת       wê'et and~AT שְׁלוֹם       shê'lom COMPLETENESS הַצֹּאן look, he was wandering in the field and the man inquired of him saying, what are you searching out, וַיִּמְצָאֵהוּ       wai'yim'tsa'ey'hu and~he~will~FIND (Verb)~him אִישׁ       ish MAN וְהִנֵּה       wê'hin'neyh and~LOOK תֹעֶה       to'eh WANDER (Verb)~ing/er(ms) בַּשָּׂדֶה       ba'sa'deh in~the~FIELD וַיִּשְׁאָלֵהוּ       wai'yish'a'ley'hu and~he~will~ENQUIRE (Verb)~him הָאִישׁ       ha'ish the~MAN לֵאמֹר       ley'mor to~>~SAY (Verb) מַה       mah WHAT תְּבַקֵּשׁ       tê'va'qeysh you(ms)~will~much~SEARCH.OUT (Verb) Genesis 37:16 and he said, I am searching out my brothers, please tell me where are they feeding, וַיֹּאמֶר       wai'yo'mer and~he~will~SAY (Verb) אֶת       et AT אַחַי       a'hhai BROTHER~s~me(cs) אָנֹכִי       a'no'khi I מְבַקֵּשׁ       mê'va'qeysh much~SEARCH.OUT (Verb)~ing/er(ms) הַגִּידָה       ha'gi'dah !(ms)~make~BE.FACE.TO.FACE (Verb)~^ נָּא       na PLEASE לִי       li to~~me(cs) אֵיפֹה       ey'phoh WHERE הֵם       heym THEY(m) רֹעִים       ro'im FEED (Verb)~ing/er(mp) Genesis 37:17 and the man said, they journeyed from this one given that I heard them saying, we will walk unto Dotan, and Yoseph walked after his brothers and he found them in Dotan, וַיֹּאמֶר       wai'yo'mer and~he~will~SAY (Verb) הָאִישׁ       ha'ish the~MAN נָסְעוּ       nas'u they(cp)~did~JOURNEY (Verb) מִזֶּה       mi'zeh from~THIS כִּי       ki GIVEN.THAT שָׁמַעְתִּי and~he~will~WALK (Verb) יוֹסֵף       yo'seyph Yoseph אַחַר       a'hhar AFTER אֶחָיו       e'hhaw BROTHER~s~him וַיִּמְצָאֵם       wai'yim'tsa'eym and~he~will~FIND (Verb)~them(mp) בְּדֹתָן       bê'do'tan in~Dotan Genesis 37:18 and they saw him from a distance and before he came near to them, and they acted craftily with him to kill him, וַיִּרְאוּ       wai'yir'u and~they(mp)~will~SEE (Verb) אֹתוֹ       o'to AT~him מֵרָחֹק       mey'ra'hhoq from~DISTANCE וּבְטֶרֶם       uv'te'rem and~in~BEFORE יִקְרַב       yiq'rav he~will~COME.NEAR (Verb) אֲלֵיהֶם       a'ley'hem TO~them(mp) וַיִּתְנַכְּלוּ       wai'yit'na'ke'lu and~they(mp)~will~self~BE.CRAFTY (Verb) אֹתוֹ       o'to AT~him לַהֲמִיתוֹ       la'ha'mi'to to~>~make~DIE (Verb)~him Genesis 37:19 and they said, each to his brother, look, this master of the dreams is coming, וַיֹּאמְרוּ       wai'yom'ru and~they(mp)~will~SAY (Verb) אִישׁ       ish MAN אֶל       el TO אָחִיו       a'hhiw BROTHER~him הִנֵּה       hin'neyh LOOK בַּעַל       ba'al MASTER הַחֲלֹמוֹת       ha'hha'lo'mot the~DREAM~s הַלָּזֶה       ha'la'zeh THIS.ONE בָּא       ba he~did~COME (Verb) Genesis 37:20 and now walk and we will kill him and we will cause him to be thrown out in one of the cisterns and we will say a dysfunctional living one had eaten him and we will see how his dreams will exist, וְעַתָּה       wê'a'tah and~NOW לְכוּ       lê'khu !(mp)~WALK (Verb) וְנַהַרְגֵהוּ       wê'na'har'gey'hu and~we(cp)~will~KILL (Verb)~him וְנַשְׁלִכֵהוּ       wê'nash'li'khey'hu and~we(cp)~will~make~THROW.OUT (Verb)~him בְּאַחַד       bê'a'hhad she~did~EAT (Verb)~him וְנִרְאֶה       wê'nir'eh and~we(cp)~will~SEE (Verb)~^ מַה       mah WHAT יִּהְיוּ       yih'yu they(mp)~will~EXIST (Verb) חֲלֹמֹתָיו       hha'lo'mo'taw DREAM~s~him Genesis 37:21 and Re'uven heard and he delivered him from their hand and he said, we will not hit his being, וַיִּשְׁמַע       wai'yish'ma and~he~will~HEAR (Verb) רְאוּבֵן       rê'u'veyn Re'uven וַיַּצִּלֵהוּ       wai'ya'tsi'ley'hu and~he~will~make~DELIVER (Verb)~him מִיָּדָם       mi'ya'dam from~HAND~them(mp) וַיֹּאמֶר       wai'yo'mer and~he~will~SAY (Verb) לֹא       lo NOT נַכֶּנּוּ       na'ke'nu we(cp)~will~make~HIT (Verb)~him נָפֶשׁ       na'phesh BEING (The phrase "Not we~will~make~Hit~him Being" would literally be translated as "we will not hit him, a being" and makes no grammatical sense. The phrase may have originally been written as "Not we~will~make~Hit Being~him" meaning "we will not hit his being.") Genesis 37:22 and Re'uven said to them, you will not pour out the blood, throw him out to this cistern which is in the wilderness and you will not send a hand in him, to deliver him from their hand to return him to his father, וַיֹּאמֶר       wai'yo'mer and~he~will~SAY (Verb) אֲלֵהֶם       a'ley'hem TO~them(mp) רְאוּבֵן       rê'u'veyn Re'uven אַל       al DO.NOT תִּשְׁפְּכוּ       tish'pe'khu the~THIS אֲשֶׁר       a'sher WHICH בַּמִּדְבָּר       ba'mid'bar in~the~WILDERNESS וְיָד       wê'yad and~HAND אַל       al DO.NOT תִּשְׁלְחוּ       tish'le'hhu you(mp)~will~SEND (Verb) בוֹ       vo the wrists which was upon him, וַיְהִי       wai'hi and~he~will~EXIST (Verb) כַּאֲשֶׁר       ka'a'sheyr like~WHICH בָּא       ba he~did~COME (Verb) יוֹסֵף       yo'seyph Yoseph אֶל       el TO out unto the cistern and the cistern was empty, without waters in him, וַיִּקָּחֻהוּ       wai'yi'qa'hhu'hu and~they(mp)~will~TAKE (Verb)~him וַיַּשְׁלִכוּ       wai'yash'li'khu בּוֹ       bo in~~him מָיִם       ma'yim WATER~s2 Genesis 37:25 and they settled to eat bread and they lifted up their eyes and they saw and look, a caravan of the ones of Yishma'el was coming from Gil'ad and their camels were lifting up spice and balm and myrrh, walking to go down unto Mits'rayim, וַיֵּשְׁבוּ       wai'yeysh'vu and~they(mp)~will~SETTLE (Verb) לֶאֱכָל       le'e'khol to~>~EAT
